As a stay-at-home, half-blind mom to a brilliant child, she thrives in her Texas home after moving from California. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Sciences, she bridges biological and technological fields to infuse her high fantasy with unique, grounding realism.
With over a decade of experience as a zoologist caring for reptiles, amphibians, birds from songbirds to birds of prey, and mammals ranging from small to large cats, she breathes a whimsical magic into the mythical beings and vibrant ecosystems that populate her otherworldly fantasy realms.
As a veteran storyteller, she has served as an old-school Dungeon Master for an online community for over two decades, shaping her love for complex characters and narrative oddities. When she isn't people-watching or crafting, she is diligently supervised by her three feline companions, who offer their 'expert' assistance every time she sits down at her desk to weave magic onto the page.

In 2011, a close friend persuaded her to first attempt NaNoWriMo. That spark ignited a fire; she has won the challenge every year since, cultivating a treasury of stories that are now finding their way out of her notebooks and into full-length novels she prepares to share with her future readers.

A Resilient Turn
The pivot to writing as a full-time career was catalyzed by the life-defining birth of her daughter in 2017—a critical time where both mother and child nearly died. Forced to find a new professional path, she embraced storytelling with total devotion, transforming her stories into published art.
